The Hoffman Coach Story

Hoffman Coach Co. is nestled in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest in a little town called Weldbank. We are a small family owned and operated Motor Home Conversion company in our 44th year of business. HCC is the oldest continuously operating conversion company in the United States.

The founders of the company are the late Donald Hoffman and Margaret Hoffman. They built their first Motor Home on a rear engine school bus in 1965.

Active in the business today are son Jeff, daughter Debbie and her husband Doug McClain.

Loosing count…we have converted well over 200 coaches primarily on new from the factory shells from Prevost and MCI. In fact…..the first Prevost conversion shell to roll of the line in 1977 was converted by HCC.

We have built everything from the typical home style coaches to a more commercial type for example; we built an Optical Surgery Unit for an Optometrist from the Philippines. We are currently building full body slides on an H Model Prevost.

Our concentration in the past few years has been doing updates and refurbishments to current motor homes. This consists of electronic updates, flooring, cabinetry, window treatments, furniture replacements and also service work, tow bar and satellite installations.
